Adidas has been at the forefront of shoe design since its inception on August 18, 1949 in the Bavarian city of Herzogenaurach. Adolf "Adi" Dassler founded the company and came up with its name from the merger of his name. Separated from the company that he founded with his brother in the early 1920s, Adi Dassler began producing shoes for his company, which is now the second largest shoe manufacturer in the world.

Adidas running shoe tradition

New model

Drawing inspiration from the running silhouettes of the 1980s, the three-strips brand launched Swift Run. This model has a Primeknit upper and EVA midsole in white with a black bottom.

Adidas Swift Run also has a torsion system added to the midfoot for added stability and protection. A molded EVA lining is located under the knitted upper part of the Swift Rune sneakers to facilitate cushioning, and a rubber outsole provides a durable outsole.

This new Adidas Swift Run silhouette was released in white, and for men in black and green, for women in a combination of gray and pink.

3 strips are now fused shoes, and the top is decorated with straight lines to give a modern style and additional structure. Adidas Swift Run shoes debuted in July 2017.
