In 2006, Adidas signed a contract with professional skateboarder Denis Busenitz as part of the growing Adidas skateboarding team along with skateboarding legend Mark Gonzalez. Adidas Busenitz is his signature shoe that was originally inspired by Adidas Copa Mundial.
